If you guys are wondering why isnt Ben online anymore, its because i have been called back for reservist. Since last friday and it will end on 29 nov. When i reported to my unit 680SIR.... i realise i am placed in a 6 year battalion. And its my first in camp haha. I am the only 21 year old amongst like 27 - 30 year old plus people LOL. But i thank God so much because all my fellow commanders are all so nice. I am currently in platoon 1 section 3. And my section i am suppose to have 6 people but currently i only have like 3. And they are Ye, my M203 gunner, not married currently working as an organiser for events. He organize the musicians that will play for the night and he does the MC. and he organize for some of the celebrities as well. Next i have Fadly who is my LAW gunner, just got married, working as a video producer, currently he has this important project for his company. and lastly i have Stanley Boon Wee, my SAW gunner, he is working as a sales engineer, something to do with lighting.

At first i was really afraid, i was thinking how do i talk to these people, they are all older than me and they don want to be here, who wants to go for reservist haha. I just have to take away my rank and talk to them. Rank doesnt matter anymore, its getting to know your men well that matters. And i find it easy just talking to them like friends. And it doesnt matter how old they are, I still have to take care of them, get them to training, help them with their weapons and stuff. To be a good commander, i need to know my stuff well so that whenever they need help i am able to help them.

Thank God everyone is so nice haha... My CSM gave me off for tomorrow after i take my IPPT tomorrow i can BOOK OUT! WOOHOO.. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS! ASIA CONFERENCE! hahahahahahahahaa. I get to SKIP TRAINING. woohoo! and i get to book in the next morning.

But next week is going to be tougher. I guess i don mind being in this unit after all. Thank God. Even though there is a big age gap... i still fill part of them.

Happy Birthday to Ben

On saturday i went to meet Weehung, Cailing and David, Libin cant make it because she fell sick. But it was a good day, we went to watch Madagascar 2 and after that we went over to bugis to shop for some stuff. After shopping we head over to a dessert place to have some dessert before we went to have our dinner. I had to leave early so i walked over to Billy Bombers with them sat for a while and left. Went down for security training in expo which lasted till 10.30pm, then went home.

On sunday went for service in the morning till around 4pm and i had to leave because my parents are waiting for me at home to go for dinner. Thanks Jason for celebrating my birthday and the rest of the security people in JW. I got a grey belt as a present which i am able to wear to match my shoes haha. We went over to this farm area in choa chu kang to have dinner, the food there is awesome, we had like satay, pork knuckle, chicken wings, sting ray, thats about it. I ate too much that day. We havent had dinner together for a long time. It was good.

On monday i went over to help out at bendemeer. then after i went over to visit Cailing at dhoby ghaut for a bit then met David at center point. We walked around for a bit and then went over to Somerset mrt to meet Singyee. After that we head down to botak jones opposite cineleisure for dinner. It was good, thanks for the treat David and Singyee. After that we went over to cineleisure to have dessert at Hong Kong cafe. Thanks for the treat again. haha. After that it was quite late so we decided to go home. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves.

Today, met up with Mich and Vone on my birthday. Apparently Ray was MIA haha and Germ was busy and Ivan was busy too. But even though it was only 2 of yous, i had a great time hope both of you did too, thanks for everything. I liked the bag from Germ, Vone, Mich and Ivan. Really needed it haha... my current bag is like messy and quite old.



Yea we went over to watch DragonHunter over at cine, it was quite funny, it was good. We went over to gloria cafe thingo to change into my new bag, haha and Vone and Mich helped me tidy up my bag and throw stuff away for me LOL. After that went over to the library over at bugis because Mich had to return her books. We went to have our dinner over at some steamboat place called Steamboat Ramen apparently the official opening date was today, it was quite good. We chiong the prawns and the muscles and the shells and the crabs... ok maybe not we just Mich haha. Vone and I like chiong the beef. we ate for like 2 hours plus plus... haha so full... then after we went over to bugis to shop for a bit, we had ice cream after that. went back home after ice cream. It was a good day, i enjoyed my myself i hope you guys did too. thanks.

Well today went pass really fast and before you know it its no longer your birthday haha. 17 more minutes till its over. Alright thats all.

When you think you are on top of the world

Sometimes in life, you think you are already at your limit. You think you have got it all. You think you have conquered every single thing there is to conquer in life. But before you know it, there is more to it then just that. Before you know it you have already set a boundary for yourself, you have place yourself into a container where you feel so comfortable with. Everything that you need or want is already in that container, there is no need to dig any further. That is what you think, but what God has for you and has prepared for you is far more then what you can think of or imagine.



You will never know what God has prepared for you unless you dig further down.

Job 14:5 Man's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.

God has set for you a limit that you cannot exceed, there is no reason why you should stay where you are now. For you are never alone. He walks with you.
